Over his four years at Villanova University, Eugene was a co-host of two talk/music shows on WXVU 89.1 FM, where he also called Villanova football and basketball games, with experience as a play-by-play and color commentator. Most recently, he was a producer and co-host of VUBenchMob.com's State of the Nova Nation, which was ranked in Pod-O-Matic's Top 75 Sports Podcasts in 20 of the 23 weeks that the show was in its two episodes-per-week season run.

Eugene was a guest on The Knicks Wall’s podcast, breaking down NBA draft prospect Mikal Bridges with Matt Spendley and Bailey Carlin. (Eugene’s segment begins at 20:11.)

Hours before the National Championship Game between Michigan and Villanova, Eugene was invited to come on the Toledo-based ESPN 106.5FM The Ticket, to preview the game and storylines surrounding it. This is a longer segment, almost 20 minutes long.

On the morning of the NCAA Tournament National Championship Game between Michigan and Villanova, Eugene was a guest on the SB Nation Radio show, The Sports Bosses, to discuss the upcoming game. This segment is shorter than the above one, clocking in at just under 10 minutes.

On October 11, 2017, Eugene was a guest analyst on the Omaha-area radio station, KMA 960 AM/99.1 FM, as part of the "Upon Further Review" show. Here is the segment he was a part of, where he talked about college basketball and Villanova hoops:
